It all started when the Baron Nathaniel arrived in Pauillac from England in 1853. He then bought the Château Brane Mouton from a Parisian banker and became the first Rothschild family member to dedicate his life to his vineyard and wines. Since then, respect and love of the land, innovation and passion in the product, dedication to markets and consumers have become the milestones of one of the most influential families in the wine industry.
